We finally plunged into Solar with a 12 panels installed on our roof. These panels are each capable of delivering 470w giving us close to 5.6kw at maximum output.
The cells are controlled by a SolarEdge Home Hub Inverter. The technoligy is impressive and yesterday, our first full day on Solar more than out goal of 25% of our consumption came from the roof despite it being overcast and occasional showers.
This addition had the added benefit of finally combining the two electricity meters meaning we will no longer be saddled with two supply costs.
The company we chose is Bare Energy and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
